Holly Rise Housing Co-operative was set up in 1987. It comprises of two blocks of 1950s-built flats; Southam House and Claverdon House. Each block houses 30 one- and two-bedroom properties over 6 floors.
Over the years we have achieved much to be proud of: encouraging a community spirit & improving the standard of living and the environment.
Holly Rise is about a different way of providing housing. The tenants, through an elected committee, are responsible for the day to day running of the properties:
Employing our own contractors
Managing our own repairs budget
Improving the environment around us
As a Co-operative member, you must agree to sign and abide by our membership agreement. These rules are designed for the benefit of all our members, and to improve everyone's quality of life. You will be asked for £1.00 to buy a share. This will give you the right to have an input into decission making.
